Holly had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Crowley County on Tuesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Chargers on September 4th, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

While Holly won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24, 25-19.

Lillian Parker paced Holly's offense, picking up eight kills. Parker got some help from Makynna Neugebauer and her 16 assists. Anayi Cerros and Allison Rushton kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Holly is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Crowley County, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-8.

Coming up, Holly will face off against Walsh at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crowley County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cheraw at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
