Basketball Recap: Oklahoma F Wins Going Away Against Kokomo Homeschool

Oklahoma F had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles with a sharp 72-51 win.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drew Beery, who posted 23 points and eight boards. With that strong performance, Beery is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. Another player making a difference was Maximus Hogsett, who had 16 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kokomo HomeSchool fell to 3-1.

Oklahoma F will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Crossover Prep at 7:30 p.m. on the 18th. As for Kokomo HomeSchool, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-54 loss against Southern Missouri RUSH on the 7th.
