Salado is 7-1 against Jarrell since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Salado Eagles will be playing at home against the Jarrell Cougars at 1:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Meanwhile, Jarrell came tearing into Tuesday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 52-41 win over the Cougars. 52 seems to be a good number for Jarrell as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Jarrell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Salado, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10.

Salado was able to grind out a solid victory over Jarrell in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 68-59. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Jarrell's Aniya Taylor, who posted 30 points.
