Basketball Recap: College Prep of America Comes Up Short

College Prep of America was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Universal Stars. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-32 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why College Prep of America lost, don't look at Zainab Nazeer. Despite the final result, she posted 21 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. That was a full 65.6% of College Prep of America's points, marking the 16th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Sehrish Pandit was another key player, putting up five points along with six rebounds and three blocks.

College Prep of America's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Universal, they pushed their record up to 4-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither College Prep of America nor Universal have any future games scheduled.
