After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Edwardsburg finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lincoln-Way Central Knights by a score of 3-2. The Eddies' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Edwardsburg's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Lincoln-Way Central, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.

Coming up, Edwardsburg will take on Franklin Central in a tournament on Saturday. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they will challenge Lake Central at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
