Kingston has gone a perfect 10-0 against Peck recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cardinals will venture away from home to take on the Pirates at 4:00 p.m. Peck took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Kingston, who comes in off a win.

Peck will be up against a hot Kingston squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Cardinals came out on top against Capac by a score of 7-3 on Tuesday.

Kingston got a big performance out of Brianna Rayl, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Andie Hurd also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Kingston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .385 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Peck has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.08 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came up short against Croswell-Lexington, falling 12-5. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ava Collins was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Kingston's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Peck, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Kingston has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Peck struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Kingston took their victory against Peck in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
