Chippewa waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Northwestern Huskies get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Chippewa might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six goals or more this season.

Chippewa's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Northwestern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chippewa is set to square off against their familiar foe Hillsdale at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Northwestern will face off against rival Smithville at 11:00 a.m. on the 13th.
