Baseball Game Preview: Rowe Warriors vs. Pioneer Diamondbacks

For the second straight game, Rowe will face off against Pioneer. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Diamondbacks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rowe's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Pioneer's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Rowe is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Pioneer just ended the team's 11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Diamondbacks by a score of 1-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Rowe saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Garza, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Pioneer's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-10. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Rowe, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.
