The Oakfield Oaks will head out to square off against the Mayville Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakfield's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Mayville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Meanwhile, Mayville entered their tilt with North Fond du Lac on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Orioles, sneaking past 2-0.

Not much got past Allie Schwirtz, who gave up just three hits and racked up 16 Ks to keep North Fond du Lac off the board. Schwirtz has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Lilian Mansueto was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run.
