Softball Recap: Cameron Comes Up Short

Cameron fell victim to Northwestern and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on Wednesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Cameron and nudges their season record down to 8-7. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Northwestern, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Cameron has already played their next matchup, a 9-7 win against St. Croix Falls on the 8th. As for Northwestern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Barron on the 8th.
