Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

After flying high against V.B. Glencoe Charter last Tuesday, Franklin came back down to earth. The Hornets took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwest Raiders on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Franklin now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Northwest, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4.

Coming up, Franklin will venture away from home to face off against Breaux Bridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest, they will challenge Lake Charles College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
