Basketball Recap: Vanoss Piles Up the Points Against Asher

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vanoss). They claimed a resounding 59-24 victory over the Asher Indians. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 25 points or more this season.

Vanoss' win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Asher, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vanoss will head out to square off against Allen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Allen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Asher, they will face off against Wayne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
