Soccer Recap: Gate City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Asheboro Hybrid Academy on Monday, Gate City came back down to earth. The Guardians came up short against the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks on Friday, falling 4-0.

Gate City now has a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Gate City will challenge Southwest Wake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Atkins on the 16th.
