Volleyball Recap: Unity Has No Trouble Against Hayward

Unity won the last time they faced Hayward and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Hurricanes with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Unity walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-21.

Andrea Erickson paced Unity's offense, picking up 16 kills. Erickson got some help from Ella Johnson and her 18 assists. Erickson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Unity's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Hayward, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Unity is set to square off against their familiar foe Cameron at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hayward will face off against rival St. Croix Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
