Mt. Ararat extended their winning streak to seven on Monday, bumping their season record up to 8-1 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Morse Shipbuilders a 7-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Morse, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5. The contest marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

For Morse's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Becker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Coming up, Mt. Ararat will head out on the road to take on Yarmouth at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morse, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gardiner at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
