Solanco entered their tilt with Conestoga Valley on Wednesday with 15 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 16. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Buckskins. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 23-10 last Tuesday.

Kira Roark spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ava Fedoruk, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Delaney Gote was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Solanco pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Conestoga Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Solanco will welcome Penn Manor at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Golden Mules 2.5, the Comets 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Conestoga Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Columbia at 4:15 p.m.
