Union County won the last time they faced Stephens County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Union County took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12.

Reese Jones paced Union County's offense, picking up seven kills. Jones got some help from Kamryn Brown and her 13 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Union County's win bumped their record up to 23-13. As for Stephens County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 19 of their last 22 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-26 record this season.
