Recap: Midfield Patriots vs. Danville Hawks
On Thursday, Midfield made easy work of Danville and carried off a 71-47 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-16.
Armonie Franklin was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Doniven Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Midfield's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Danville, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
Midfield will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Priceville at 11:00 a.m. on December 29, 2023. Priceville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 351st, while Midfield is ranked 164th). As for Danville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Decatur at 7:00 p.m.
