Softball Recap: Randolph Comes Up Short

Randolph lost against Allegany-Limestone back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cardinals came up short against the Gators, falling 9-2.

Sadie S.Steward made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Allegany-Limestone, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph will head out to face off against Chautauqua Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Allegany-Limestone, they will venture away from home to take on Ellicottville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
