Santa Maria won the last time they faced Santa Ynez and things went their way on Thursday too. The Saints blew past the Pirates 18-1. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Santa Maria and bumps their season record up to 4-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games.
