The Middlesex Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season. They blew past West Point 83-56 at home. Winning may never get old, but Middlesex sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Middlesex was led to victory by JaQuan Griffin and Malik Dandy. Griffin dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten assists, while Dandy scored 24 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Griffin's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kellen Layne, who scored six points along with five assists.

Middlesex's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.1 points per game. As for West Point, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Middlesex will head out on the road to face off against King William at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Point won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Charles City at 7:45 p.m. on January 12th.
