Basketball Recap: Kerman Skates Past Hanford West with Ease

After losing to Hanford West the last time they met, Kerman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Kerman Lions claimed a resounding 87-59 victory over the Hanford West Huskies. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Daniel Bibioff was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 47 points and ten boards. Bibioff is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Nishan Jani, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points along with five assists and five boards.

Kerman smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Kerman's record is now 7-4. As for Hanford West, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Kerman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 89-57 loss against Centennial on the 27th. As for Hanford West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-50 defeat against Kennedy on the 27th.
