Baseball Recap: South Fremont Cougars vs. Teton Timberwolves

After flying high against Teton on Monday, South Fremont came back down to earth. The South Fremont Cougars took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Teton Timberwolves on Monday. South Fremont was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Teton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played.

Colter Hansen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, South Fremont saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Hammond, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Even though they lost, South Fremont didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with nine strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Teton only tossed four.

On Teton's side, they also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and he was also dialed-in: Luke Nelson gave up one run (which was unearned) on six hits.
