South Stokes came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 16 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 56-43 victory over the North Stokes Vikings. Given the Sauras' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Vikings are ranked 379th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Stokes' win was their 26th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.7 points over those games.
