St. Patrick won the last time they faced Elk Grove and things went their way on Saturday too. The Shamrocks walked away with a 2-0 win over the Grenadiers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Shamrocks.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Patrick took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10.

Charlie Hall paced St. Patrick's offense, picking up nine kills. Hall got some help from Eric Resendez and his 11 assists.

St. Patrick's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Elk Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-21 record this season.

St. Patrick has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Evanston on the 26th. As for Elk Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Amundsen on the 26th.
