Baseball Recap: Holmes Comes Up Short

Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 5-1 to the Stevens Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Tuesday.

Raymundo Vasquez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole five bases.

Holmes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Stevens, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Holmes has already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Edison on the 27th. As for Stevens, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-10 loss against Anderson on the 27th.
