Volleyball Recap: Mukwonago Indians vs. Menomonee Falls Phoenix        
        
		
             On Saturday, Mukwonago faced Menomonee Falls in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mukwonago Indians came out on top in a nail-biter against the Menomonee Falls Phoenix , sneaking past  2-1. This was a revenge  game for the Indians, as the team was forced to settle for  a  2-0 loss when these two played  last Saturday.
 The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Mukwonago who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 17-25,  15-7.
 Mukwonago was led to victory by  Alexis Gardner and  Elyse Lange.  Gardner  had 15  digs, while  Lange  had three  aces. That's the most  aces  Lange has posted  in  her last 17  matchups.
 When it comes to explaining why Menomonee Falls lost, don't look at  Cassie Bruns. Despite the final result, she  had 14  digs.
 Mukwonago has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record  this season. As for Menomonee Falls,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 20-7.

Menomonee Falls is facing Wauwatosa West at the right time seeing as Wauwatosa West is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
