Soccer Recap: Pine Island Comes Up Short

Pine Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Faribault Falcons. That's two games in a row now that Pine Island have lost by exactly two goals.

Pine Island now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Faribault, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Pine Island will face off against Albert Lea at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Faribault, they will head out on the road to face off against Byron at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
