It was a good run, but Adrian/Ellsworth unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They were outmatched by the Luverne Cardinals and fell 98-63. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Cardinals are ranked 93rd).

Adrian/Ellsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Luverne, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Adrian/Ellsworth will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Rock Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Luverne has already played their next match (against Hills-Beaver Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
