Cheyenne Wells won the last time they faced Kit Carson, and Paige Ryser did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cheyenne Wells Tigers breezed past the Kit Carson Wildcats to the tune of 50-14 on Friday thanks in part to Ryser, who went 6 for 14 to rack up 14 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 14 games she's played.

Chamille Harrison was another key player, putting up eight points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in shooting accuracy (60%).

Despite the defeat, Kit Carson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Avery Johnson posted nine points.

Cheyenne Wells' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 34.7% in those games and 19.2% outside of them. As for Kit Carson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
