Champaign Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Rantoul Eagles. Champaign Central have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Rantoul, too.

The win got Champaign Central back to even at 9-9-2. As for Rantoul, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-12-1.
