Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Moore Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 last Monday.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Moore, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eisenhower will host Cache at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Cache has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.18 runs per game on average), something Eisenhower will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Moore, they will face off against Deer Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
