Volleyball Recap: Atlee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Atlee couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Grafton Clippers on Saturday, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Raiders haven't been shut out since back in October.

While Atlee ultimately came up short, they really made Grafton work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Leading Grafton to victory were Olivia Dela Cruz and Arianna Christian. Dela Cruz had 19 assists and 12 digs, while Christian had six digs. Dela Cruz has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last 14 times she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Atlee and nudges their season record down to 19-3. As for Grafton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 24-0.

Atlee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grafton, they will square off against Loudoun County on Tuesday.
