Baseball Recap: South Park's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

South Park and Riverside squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but South Park had to settle for second. They fell 4-1 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in May.

South Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Hochendoner, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

South Park moved to 17-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Riverside, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

South Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-2 victory against Mount Carmel on the 12th.
