Volleyball Recap: Napoleon Comes Up Short

Napoleon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Whitmer Panthers, falling 3-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-10.

Taylor Hendrix paced Napoleon's offense, picking up eight kills. Hendrix got some help from Taylor Borton and her eight assists.

Napoleon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Whitmer, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Napoleon will face off against rival Southview at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Whitmer is set to challenge their familiar foe Springfield at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
