Volleyball Recap: Chrisman Comes Up Short

Chrisman lost against Belton back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears came up short against the Pirates, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-9.

Despite the defeat, Chrisman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Olivia Pocock had ten digs.

Chrisman has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10-1 record this season. As for Belton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Chrisman will head out on the road to challenge Raytown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Belton, they will host Fort Osage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
