Show Low faced Winslow in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for Show Low, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Winslow from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Taylynn Butler led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Show Low is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those six matchups. As for Winslow, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
