Lemoore was the 4-3 winner over Sierra Pacific when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Lemoore fell just short of Sierra Pacific by a score of 7-6 on Monday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Chris Garcia was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Drake Varela also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Lemoore's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Sierra Pacific, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Lemoore and Sierra Pacific should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Lemoore (ranked 165th) will meet Mission Oak (ranked 775th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Sierra Pacific will square off against Atascadero at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 175 places (148 vs. 323).
