Soccer Recap: Irvine's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Irvine lost against Northwood back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Irvine Vaqueros fell 3-1 to the Northwood Timberwolves.

Irvine's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4-2. As for Northwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1.

Irvine will challenge University at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Irvine's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Northwood, they will square off against Laguna Beach at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
