Volleyball Recap: Start Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Start was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ross Little Giants. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Little Giants when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-1, 25-4.

Ross' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryla Smith led the charge by getting five aces and three digs. Smith is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brook Baacke, who had 11 digs and five aces.

Start's record is now 5-12. As for Ross, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Start does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ross, they will take on Clay in a tournament on Monday.
