Softball Recap: DuPont Manual Victorious

DuPont Manual won the last time they faced Denmark and things went their way on Thursday too. DuPont Manual walked away with a 10-6 victory over Denmark. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crimsons.

The team relied heavily on Brooklynn Bing, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Payton Russell was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

Bing wasn't the only one working in the hit department: DuPont Manual kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

DuPont Manual's win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, DuPont Manual will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Lynn Camp at 10:00 a.m. As for Denmark, they will head out on the road to face off against Ballard at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
