Baseball Recap: Bonny Eagle Scots vs. Deering Rams
Bonny Eagle posted their closest win since April 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Deering Rams. For the Scots, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Not much got past Gavin Saucier, who gave up just three hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Deering off the board. Saucier also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bonny Eagle is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-5 otherwise.
At the plate, Bonny Eagle secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Canaan Wood, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
