Football Recap: Sault Area Falls to Cheboygan in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Sault Area had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 19-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cheboygan Chiefs. The Blue Devils were not able to make up for their loss to the Chiefs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Looking ahead, Sault Area will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Shepherd at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cheboygan, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Charlevoix at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
