Baseball Recap: Bristol-Plymouth RVT Find Success

The Bristol-Plymouth RVT Craftsmen earned a 7-3 win over the Northbridge Rams on Friday. That's two games straight that the Craftsmen have won by exactly four runs.

Drew Ryder looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Antonio Cirino was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Wilbur, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one double.

The victory made it two in a row for Bristol-Plymouth RVT and bumps their season record up to 10-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Northbridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Bristol-Plymouth RVT will challenge Tri-County RVT at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northbridge, they will square off against Uxbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
