Volleyball Recap: Saranac Lake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Saranac Lake was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of AuSable Valley on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Storm lost 3-0 to the Plattsburgh Hornets on Thursday. The Red Storm haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-16.

Sophia McBride paced Saranac Lake's offense, picking up six kills. McBride got some help from Sophie Czadzeck and her ten assists. Czadzeck was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Saranac Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Plattsburgh, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Saranac Lake has already played their next match (against Northeastern Clinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Plattsburgh, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Northern Adirondack on the 14th.
