Basketball Game Preview: Independence vs. Jefferson Cougars

Independence are taking a road trip to square off against the Jefferson Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Independence is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.8 points per game this season.

Independence is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They fell 60-52 to Dominion.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Sebi Enderes, who went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Ratliff, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Jefferson beat Keyser 51-38 on Saturday.

Jefferson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
