Softball Recap: James Monroe Takes a Loss

James Monroe lost to PikeView back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mavericks came up short against the Panthers, falling 16-6. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for PikeView, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James Monroe will host Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for PikeView, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Oak Hill at 4:00 p.m.
