Basketball Recap: Ben Carroll Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

Fort Yukon won the last time they faced Andrew K. Demoski and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Fort Yukon Eagles' way against the Andrew K. Demoski Wolves as the Fort Yukon Eagles made off with a 59-35 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Fort Yukon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ben Carroll led the charge by putting up 18 points. Marsten Capelli was another key player, posting 15 points.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kellian Kriska, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Ekada, who put up 11 points.

Fort Yukon now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Andrew K. Demoski, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Fort Yukon will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Walter Northway. Andrew K. Demoski does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
