Saguaro had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 57.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Marcos de Niza Padres, posting a 70-29 win. That's more bragging rights for the Sabercats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Marcos de Niza's loss came despite strong showings from Elyanna Carbajal and Abigail Cooper. Carbajal dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Cooper posted eight points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Carbajal a new career-high in points.

The victory got Saguaro back to even at 10-10. As for Marcos de Niza, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Saguaro will head out on the road to face off against St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Saguaro's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
