Volleyball Recap: E.D. White Cardinals vs. Haynes Academy

E.D. White and Haynes Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but E.D. White had to settle for second. They fell just short of Haynes Academy by a score of 3-2. The Cardinals' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

E.D. White took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Haynes Academy was led to victory by Isabella Granados and Ella Feehan. Granados had 14 digs and 22 assists, while Feehan had 19 digs. Feehan is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last six games she's played.

E.D. White's defeat dropped their record down to 23-13. As for Haynes Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 34-7 record this season.
